Back at one of the most breathtaking destinations on the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League, Miami Beach (12 - 15 April 2023) is set for a formidable line-up of the world’s top show jumpers and horses.
The second leg of the 2023 Championship promises an edge-of-the-seat weekend of top sport and an unforgettable lifestyle experience in the coastal resort famous for its legendary nightlife and art deco architecture.

Vying for success on the sandy shoreline, the LGCT and GCL team series makes an electric return to the stunning location just a stone’s throw away from the turquoise waters of the Atlantic ocean.
The second leg of the 2023 Championship promises an edge-of-the-seat weekend of top sport as riders battle it out for the lion's share of over €36 million prize purse during the season.

The game-changing venue of LGCT Miami Beach has become one of the most spectacular show jumping destinations in the world, with free entry fans flock to the sands to see their heroes up close, and hundreds of thousands more tuning in on the live streaming. Fans can soak up the Miami Beach vibe from the GC Village and GC Lounge then enjoy riders and horses who have flown in from all around the world to this high-profile US destination, with the American stop on the 16-leg Championship undoubtedly one of the most highly sought-after.

Reigning LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach winner Katrin Eckermann will be trying to defend her title and secure her place in the €1.25 million Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix again. The female firepower is strong in Miami with Malin Baryard-Johnsson aiming to climb her way up the rankings from her current 4th place as VIPs watch on from the stunning hospitality with ocean views.

They’ll face stiff competition from two-time LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach winner Edwina Tops-Alexander, as well as 2013 & 2014 LGCT Champion Scott Brash, both of who will be looking to kick start their 2023 Championship campaign. Germany’s Christian Kukuk will be looking to leapfrog his way to the top of the ranking leaderboard currently sitting in second place after his insane performance in Doha.

Local American fans will be able to cheer on home heroes, including Laura Kraut, Mclain Ward, Kent Farrington, Spencer Smith, Margie Goldstein-Engle, Isabella Russekoff, Natalie Dean, and many more. But it’s set to be a battle of the best, with a heavyweight international field also flexing their muscles, with big names such as world number one Henrik von Eckermann, Shane Breen, Daniel Deusser, Christian Ahlmann, Maikel van der Vleuten, Marlon Zanotelli, Jur Vrieling, Gregory Wathelet, Pieter Devos, Darragh Kenny, Denis Lynch and Nicola and Olivier Philippaerts.

All three days of top sporting action including the CSI2* classes will be live-streamed via GCTV, so be sure to tune in to watch the drama as it unfolds. With a cavalcade of stars confirmed for the second leg of the 2023 Championship, including many of the biggest American names in the sport, it is set to be a thrilling showcase of top sport and entertainment.
