Liechtenstein Polo Club gets ready ! Polo Action !  2. Princely Polo Cup 2016  !

Teams are set. The 2. Princely Polo cup  26.-28.08.2016 will attract  6 international Polo Teams, and polo player from Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein and Argentina, as well as lots of guests, friends and spectators !

Founder and President Liechtenstein Polo Club, Verena Tinkler, - a huge fan of horses, polo, a passionate polo player herself - founded the Club and Polo school in the Fürstentum Liechtenstein only few years ago - and is developing with her Team, Vice-president Gerardo Cosentino, Brad Rainford – Blacket, Alberto Carlos Genés etc. since, the Polo Sport in the region continuously and with great determination and power.

The first ever  ‘Princely Polo Cup’ last year summer 2015 - already a success story – everybody enjoyed this stunning Polo tournament, elegant side events and guests, great organisation and  amazing location of the Liechtenstein Polo grounds in such a relaxing and peaceful countryside environments with romantic view on the Alps and the famous Vaduz Castle ‘Schloss Vaduz’.
So the tradition will continue of course this summer 2016 with the 2. International Princely Polo cup  26.-28.08.2016 !
18 international polo player - six teams, as well as  about 60 horses  will travel to beautiful  Fürstentum Liechtenstein to fight for the title !   

The opening event  on Friday evening, 26.8., an elegant Gala dinner, VIP and Team  presentation, will be celebrated at stunning event venue 'Luxury Grand Resort Bad Ragaz'.
On Saturday, Polo games start at 13.00 pm at the Polo Club. Six exciting matches will be played in the afternoon at Polo Club Liechtenstein Polo grounds to qualify for the finals on Sunday.
Guests, Poloplayer, families and friends are invited to enjoy the stunning chuckers all weekend long at the exclusive Laurent-Perrier Champagner Lounge & VIP area and an exquisite Catering, which will offer delicious & beautiful culinary creations.
Saturday evening at 18.00pm the action will be moved off the field and into the relaxed atmosphere of the offered Argentine Asado, followed by a player’s party to celebrate the players and guests and first qualifications.
Sundays three final matches  will be played at 11.00 am, 12.30 pm and the big  FINAL to 'bring the 2. Princely Polo Cup home'  at 14.00 pm.  
Price Giving ceremony is expected to start at 15.30 pm on Sunday afternoon.

Die Teams stehen fest:  Der 2. Princely Polo Cup, das Turnier vom  26.-28.08.2016  wird mit  insgesamt sechs internationalen Polo Teams, sowie  Polo Playern  aus der Schweiz, Österreich, Italien, Deutschland, Tschechien, Liechtenstein und Argentinien gespielt und wird wieder viele Gäste, Freunde und Besucher anziehen !

Gründerin und Präsidentin des  Liechtenstein Polo Clubs, Verena Tinkler, - selber ein grosser Pferde- und Polofan und passionierte Polo Spielerin  - gründete den Polo Club und die Polo Schule im Fürstentum Liechtenstein erst vor einigen Jahren – aber entwickelt den Club und Polosport in der Region seitdem kontinuierlich und sehr erfolgreich mit Ihrem Team, Vice-president Gerardo Cosentino, Brad Rainford – Blacket, Alberto Carlos Genés etc.

Der erste ‘Princely Polo Cup’ im vergangenen Sommer 2015  - war bereits eine Erfolgsstory – alle Teilnehmer, Gäste und Freunde genossen dieses einmalige Polo Turnier in exklusiver Lage mit Blick auf die Alpen und am Fusse des Schloss Vaduz – die eleganten Sideevents, die hervorragende Turnierorganisation, rasante Polo Matches  und den Lifestyle am Spielfeldrand.

So wird selbstverständlich die Tradition in diesem Jahr fortgesetzt mit dem sommerlichen 2. Princely Polo Cup 26.-28.08.2016 Ende August !
18 internationale Polo Player - sechs Teams, und ca. 60 Pferde treten die Reise ins Fürstentum Liechtenstein an um um den Titel in rasanten und spannenden Chuckern zu kämpfen !  

Am  Freitag Abend dem 26.08. wird der 2. Princely Polo Cup festlich eröffnet, mit einem elegantem Galadinner – VIP -und Team Präsentation im  luxuriösen ‘Grand Resort Bad Ragaz'.
Die ersten Polo Qualifikationsspiele beginnen am Samstag um 13.00 pm auf dem Gelände des Liechensteiner Polo Clubs. Insgesamt sechs Spiele werden an dem spannenden Nachmittag ausgetragen, um die Finalteilnehmer für den Sonntag zu entscheiden.

Alle Gäste, Polospieler, Freunde, Familien, Sport und Pferdefans sind herzlich eingeladen die rasanten Polospiele das gesamte Wochenende über im exklusiven VIP Bereich und der Champagner Lounge  ‘Laurent-Perrier’  zu geniessen und sich kulinarisch vom exquisiten Catering verwöhnen zu lassen.  
Der actiongeladene Samstag klingt danach abends mit dem typisch argentinischen Asado am Spielfeldrand sowie anschliessender Open Air Players Party entspannt und fröhlich aus.  

Der Final Sonntag beginnt um 11.00 am, mit dem ersten Spiel um den 5ten Platz, gefolgt vom Spiel um den 3ten Platz um 12.30 pm.  
Das grosse Finale  findet  um 14.00pm statt – zur Ermittlung des Siegers des  ‘ 2. Princely Polo Cup 2016' !   
Eine anschliessende Preisverleihung wird gegen 15.30 am Sonntag Nachmittag beginnen.

Unterhaltsam kommentiert wird die gesamte Veranstaltung und die Polospiele auf deutsch und englisch vom weltweit bekannten ‘Voice of Polo’, Jan-Erik Franck. Und für einen regelkonformen und gerechten Spielablauf sorgt wieder der sympatische 7 goaler und HPA Umpire Greg Keyte.
